Corporate advisory board

Ruud Hendriks (1945)

Ruud Hendriks has been working in the fund management industry for over 30 years. In the course of his international career, Ruud has held senior roles at some of the most recognised names in the business. Currently Ruud Hendriks is:

    • Senior advisor to Citi
    • Senior advisor to KKR
    • Chairman of the advisory board at Financial Assets

Previously, Ruud worked for Goldman Sachs Asset Management where he joined in 2001 as Managing Director.  He became co-head of sales for Europe (excluding Germany and Austria), Middle East and Africa in 2006.  Ruud retired from Goldman Sachs in 2009. Prior to joining GSAM, Ruud worked for Rodamco, the property fund of the Robeco Group, between 1980 and 1996.  He was a member of the Rodamco Executive Board between 1991 and 1996.  He then moved to become Senior Vice President/Global Head of Institutional Sales at Robeco.

Ruud earned his MA in Private Law from the Free University in Amsterdam in 1972.

Wim van Hulsenbeek (1949)

In 1974 Wim completed his studies in business economics at the University of Amsterdam. That same year he started his career with KPMG and earned his RA (accountant) title in 1976. In 1978 he obtained his American accounting qualification (New York State Certified Public Accountants qualification).

During his career at KPMG he was responsible for auditing that was supplied to several major listed companies. In the eighties he worked for KPMG for seven years in New York, primarily as a liaison for Dutch clients. He fulfilled several management positions within KPMG, NIVRA (Dutch Institute of Chartered Accountants) and various educational entities.

He was a member of the Dutch and European boards of KPMG from 1996 to 2006 and a board member of the NIVRA from 2004 to 2008. After his retirement from KPMG, he remained active in business. He holds several board positions in the Netherlands and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the accountancy course at the Free University in Amsterdam.

Investment advisory board

Robert Helderman (1959)

Robert is Managing Director for Equities at Anthos which he joined in 1983. From 1983 to 1988 his main responsibilities included sector specialisation as an analyst, and managing the European portfolio. He was subsequently made portfolio manager for the USA and Latin American equity markets from 1988 to 1998. He is a member of the Asset Allocation Committee and became Managing Director of Equities in 1998. Robert graduated in 1983 with a degree in Business Economics at the HEAO in Alkmaar. He obtained a first degree in economics (MO) in 1986.

Ruurd Haan (1968)

Ruurd is Partner at XS Investments, a leading capital introduction agent for alternative investment managers. Prior to joining XS Investments, he had extensive experience in the Dutch market, most recently as the manager of ING's Sales Trading Desk, and previously as an investment strategist for Philips Pension Fund and portfolio manager for Unilever Pension Fund. Ruurd began his career in 1995 working in quantitative equity research at ING Financial Markets in Amsterdam. He has a degree in financial economics from the University of Groningen.

Kevin Prinsen (1967)

Kevin Prinsen graduated in 2002 as a bachelor in business economy from the Lessius in Antwerp and subsequently obtained the certified insurance broker degree at the Febelfin Academy in Brussels. Later on he completed the executive masters degree of Master in Personal Financial Planning at the University of Antwerp Management School where he became a Guest Professor. Kevin started his career with the ERGO Versicherungs Gruppe where he specialized in Investment Insurance solutions. Later on he lead a local bank office of Delta Lloyd Bank in Geel (Belgium). Since 2006 he worked as an independent consultant in investment advisory for high net worth individuals and institutional clients such as pension funds, investment funds, insurance companies and banks in the BENELUX region. In 2011 he co-founded Hillewaere Wealth Control, a multi-family office located in Belgium.
